I needed the handle to an outdoor spigot replaced because a fellow working on a remodel next door broke mine off when he came over to use my water. I bought a spigot at Lowe's and when Martha first looked at it she said she wasn't sure it would work and would be pricey. Prior to heading out to buy a new part, she tried it on my faucet and it worked! She only charged me $75 and I look forward to her helping me with new bathroom fixtures in an upstairs bedroom! Kudos, Martha!
Martha was excellent to work with. She arrived immediately for the estimate and the next day arrived on time for the job. Initially she said it would be a 3-4 hour job, but getting into it, she ran into a few configuration issues and therefore it was a 6 hour job. I appreciated that she gave me a quote and stuck to the stated price even though it took longer. I will use her services again for sure! Martha is personable and will also walk you through anything you want/need to know about the hot water tank, the job and guarantees her work.
Martha was referred to me by a friend to help install my new water heater. What a great experience! Martha installed a new kitchen sink for us and also replaced the fixtures in one of our bathroom sinks. The kitchen sink installation turned out to be a bit of a bear and Martha had to do a fair bit of work to make the basin fit in our space but she made it work! She communicated clearly every step of the way, from estimate to job completion. She was scrupulously honest, reminding me that her estimate was lower than what I recalled. I will absolutely call Martha the next time we have any plumbing needs and highly recommend her work. Plus, our cats love her!
I would recommend Martha to anyone for any job! She’s highly skilled, very communicative and reasonable. She talked me down from buying a whole new toilet and made a simple fix saving me hundreds! And what we thought was a simple wax ring failed on a toilet turned out to be an improperly installed one from a previous renovator. Martha was able to make all the fixes without a hitch!
Martha solved two complex plumbing issues with our sink and is always so amazing to work with. She is responsive in communicating, offers timely availability, and can simply fix any plumbing issue ever—which she does with kindness, friendliness, and genuine care. Had to hire Martha because I'm a Martha. She came promptly, even stopping by several times as I made my way through steps in the leak investigation process she laid out for me. I especially appreciated how Martha checked to see if I was willing to take on tasks myself--to save me money, and because she didn't make assumptions about my skills or abilities (which many male-identified contractors have). I ended up using Martha as a consultant to identify the cause of the leak and appreciated her thoroughness. She was a little prickly with other contractors I had helping me with the situation, but that wouldn't stop me from hiring her again.
