We needed a plumber to completely replace our kitchen sink and Owen came highly recommended. I can understand why: he arrived on time, got right to work, and finished the job efficiently.
What I most appreciated is the extra care he took: we have galvanized pipes throughout our house and often the hot or cold water will slow to a trickle from rust buildup. Owen installed a filter to prevent this from happening, and then installed a shutoff valve so the filter can be easily cleaned. In my experience, this is the kind of care and attention you don't get from enterprise-level plumbing shops who spend money on advertising.
I'd hire Owen again in a heartbeat.
Our toilet mysteriously plugged over Christmas, and while we suspected our toddler, we briefly wondered if Krampus (or some other mischievous Scandinavian holiday creature) had paid us a visit. Either way, it definitely wasn’t anything we flushed on purpose.
Owen, from Safe and Sound, made it out to our place the day we made the call. He was super relaxed, easy to communicate with, and got right to work. He quickly dislodged a mesh metal drain hair catcher that had somehow made its way from the tub into the plumbing... classic Krampus behavior.
When I mentioned our bathroom sink was draining slowly, Owen volunteered to auger that out too while he was there. He was in and out fast, and several days later our toilet and sink are still working perfectly.

They've done everything from a full kitchen and bath remodel to responding to urgent, "water is filling my basement!!!!!" type calls and have always found the fix in a way that preserves quality and value. Can't say enough good things.

Owen is a gem! He was referred to us from a trusted friend (a contractor) when our hot water tank sprung a leak. Called him on a Saturday and he came out the next day (a Sunday!!) and had it replaced in a few hours. Will definitely be using him in the future. Highly recommend.
